KS2 TA Specification
A great opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic, diverse and progressive Primary school in North Westminster. The school would like to appoint a skilled KS2 Teaching Assistant who ideally holds experience and dedication in working with SEN children. The ideal candidate must be creative in the classroom, and hold subject knowledge in both Maths and English. The successful candidate will show exemplary enthusiasm for children along with a personable character who is easily approachable. The school specifically wants someone who is adaptable, who can show kindness for others and invest their time in their classes. Graduates are encouraged to apply, along with experienced education professionals with a minimum of CACHE Level 3. You must be available to interview and/or trial as soon as possible.
About the KS2 Teaching Assistant Role
As a KS2 LSA you will be supporting the work of the class teachers within KS2 (Year 3 to Year 6). You will be required to work with children who have MLD and ASC in the main classroom, and within small group intervention classes. You may be required to work with KS1 students, but the role is primarily across KS2. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse range of students and assist with communication support and children with EAL at times. In this post you will be able to approach a friendly and supportive leadership team. Your responsibilities will include bringing your own ideas to lessons plans and developing your skills alongside a supportive SEN Coordinator.
This role offers an exceptional opportunity to the successful candidate. If you wish to join this expanding primary school in Westminster, we look forward to hearing from you.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
