Job description

Teaching personnel are working with a Primary School in the South Manchester, Wythenshawe area to help with the recruitment of a KS2 intervention Teaching Assistant. The role is for a January start and will be on a full time basis for the rest of the academic year.

  • The role will be £285 - £315 per week
  • KS2 interventions
  • Working with small groups of pupils

The school has been rated "GOOD" by Ofsted in their most previous report and is now looking to push their pupils even further through interventions for both lower ability and higher ability pupils.

The Manchester school is looking for someone that can help out pupils of different abilities in order to bring them up to their required target level. The role would involve supporting pupils with Reading and Maths by taking the pupils into smaller grouped classes and helping them develop these skills. The classes will involve working with around 6-8 pupils at a time from the different KS2 classes.

Having previous experience with delivering KS2 interventions is essential.
