Intervention Teacher required for 1:1 Literacy/Numeracy boosters within a Preston Primary School

If the answers yes then supply teaching may be ideal for you! We urgently require Fully Qualified Teachers to deliver planned intervention sessions within East Lancashire Primary School.

Teaching personnel have had a high volume of schools in Preston, Chorley and Leyland approach us in order to source experienced fully qualified teachers to deliver planned intervention/booster sessions. Specifically, a using school within Preston, is hoping to appoint someone before the Christmas holidays.

The position is to start as soon as possible and will be supporting the year 6 class, gearing up for the SATS test, by delivering 'out of class' booster sessions with targeted pupils.

Experience delivering intervention sessions in Literacy and Numeracy with both Lower Attaining pupils and gifted and talented is essential.

The role would be working 3 days per week until Easter, but as the SATS get closer, the head has stressed depending on how the sessions were going, she would look to add some extra days to the booking.
