Job description

A Lovely primary school based in Lyme Regis are looking to add to their dedicated team this coming February. The school in question are looking for an Intervention teacher to work on a full time basis with KS2 children; delivering booster sessions in small groups covering core subjects.

This forward thinking school require a bright and enthusiastic teacher with experience covering intervention or looking to make their transition into this field to work with both gifted & talented and struggling students.

The school are looking for somebody who is creative, intuitive and that is going to take their students to the next level and to improve on current results.
This role would perfectly suit a teacher with a strong academic and KS2 background looking to make a step out of the classroom. The school would be more than happy to offer a clear progression scheme as they have a history of investing heavily into their staff.

The ideal teacher for this role will also:
  • Have UK QTS
  • Have a strong understanding of the UK curriculum and assessments within the primary phase
  • Be well organised with high expectations of achievement and behaviour
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and pupils.
