KS2 Experienced Behaviour Support Worker Needed - Knowsley

There are various schools across Knowsley that require full & part time Behaviour Support Assistants. The schools support students who find it difficult to participate in mainstream education. Each student has their own tailored curriculum, which considers the pupils strengths, weaknesses and interests. To be considered for this role you must energetic, patient and reliable. You must have the ability to use effective methods to handle difficult behaviour.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience of working with children (classroom environment desirable)
  • Will be experienced in managing difficult behaviour or special educational needs.
  • Have some experience of the Year 5 curriculum and SATs assessments.
  • Will have a clean, full driving license and access to a car to use daily.

Many positions are temporary until the SATS are finished, however if you impress there may be other opportunities within the schools of a similar fashion. So if you are looking for a long-term role this an excellent opportunity!
