Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for one of our Partner Schools located in the Weymouth area of Dorset.

  • KS1 Teaching Assistant
  • Mixture of Year 1 and Year 2 Support
  • Full Time Position (8:30-3:30pm)
  • £55-£65 Daily Rate
  • Could lead to a Permanent Contract!

The Position

You will be joining the School as a Teaching Assistant working predominantly in KS1 with mainstream and SEN children. It is likely your time will be spent across multiple classes so an element of flexibility will be important in what will be an interesting role. If you have a good knowledge of Phonics this will also be an attractive factor with the school. Ideally the successful candidate will join the school permanently at the end of the school year.

You

  • A Graduate or holds a Child Related Qualification
  • Confident across KS1 Year Groups and has a 'Class Presence'
  • Preferably at least a base understanding of Phonics and KS1 Curriculam
  • Be a self starter who will go the extra mile to help support pupils
  • Can commit to the school for the full academic year

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
