KS1 Teaching Assistant - Full Time - Derby - DE23

Teaching Personnel are looking for a dedicated KS1 teaching assistant to join one of our schools based in Derby (DE23).

The Role

This is a full time position (Monday - Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm), starting on 29th April 2019. It is a long term temporary contract with the potential to turn permanent in the new academic year. The school are looking for a KS1 teaching assistant who can work across mixed classes and also support the whole classroom, maintaining good behaviour and focus. The suitable candidate will be supporting the class teacher delivering class plans.

To be considered for the role, you must have:

  • Education or teaching based qualification (NVQ or equivalent)
  • relevant experience working in schools with KS1 children
  • Able to request for references
  • Right to work in the uk
  • Enhanced DBS on the online update service (this can be applied for after application)
