Job Type: Full time (Monday to Friday)

Salary: £9.50 - £11.50

Start date: As soon as possible

End date: July 2020

Teaching Personnel is hoping to recruit an experienced teaching assistant, to work within an average sized Primary School in Blackburn. The position is to start as soon as possible and will be for the full academic year. The Head Teacher has stated that there will be the opportunity to secure a longer term/permanent contract. They are looking for an individual who is keen to commit to the role on a full time basis.

The successful candidate will be working within the Key Stage 1 classes during the week and would be required to provide 1:1 and small grouped Phonics booster session for KS1 pupils. The children will be grouped based on attainment levels and will be working within Phases 3-5. The Head Teacher has said that experience working with the 'Letters & Sounds' Phonics scheme and delivering small group intervention is highly sough after for this role. This position offers candidates the scope to develop their career within a Primary school, alongside upholding high expectations of learning, attainment and behaviour.

Wednesday - Year 2

Thursday - Year 1

Friday - Year 1
