KS1 Teaching Assistant - Full Time (Monday - Friday) - Belper

Teaching Personnel are looking for a confident KS1 Teaching Assistant to join one of our partnership schools based in Belper for a full time role (Monday - Friday). The role is to start in January 2019 up to Sept 2019 with the potential to turn into a permanent role.

The school have been graded 'OUTSTANDING' in their recent OFSTED inspection - April 2018. The school is an inclusive, nurturing school which is committed to developing each child's full potential to become successful, confident, enthusiastic and inspirational learners. They strive to achieve this by working in partnership with the children, staff, their families and the wider communities creating an atmosphere of mutual respect.

The school are looking for a teaching assistant who can:

  • actively promote links between the home, school and the wider community
  • develop independent, lifelong learners with active, inquisitive minds
  • Support class teachers across within EYFS
  • Lead small groups of children
  • Deliver 1:1 support to individual children
  • Provide broad, balanced and enjoyable learning experiences.
  • Allow all children the opportunity to reach their full potential in a challenging environment.
