A school based in Tameside is currently looking for a cover supervisor to carry out pre planned lessons, in a ‘good’ environment from Ofsted reports.
The role will consist of:
- Delivering engaging and informative lessons, already pre planned.
- Working with students from years 7-11 in a range of subjects.
- Developing and maintaining a good level of progress through the students learning.
- Maintain a positive relationship with the students and current staff.
This is an exciting opportunity with a range of flexible days to suit your own preferences and needs. The school are keen to bring in someone who possess the following.
- Strong communication methods.
- Behaviour management skills.
- Ability to engage and develop students learning.
Any experience working in a school setting would be ideal for the school, but not completely necessary. Any sort of roles where you’ve have to use any of the skills above could prove to be very valuable to the position in hand. Such as:
- Sports coaching.
- Military background.
- Care homework.
Along with receiving training and support provided from the schools, the role in hand can also offer:
- £350 – £450 weekly wage.
- Easy access to the school, with a range of different transport methods available.
- Lesson plans and materials ready to use on arrival.
- Development opportunities in the future.
As a company, Teaching personnel are committed to ensuring the safety and well being of all the children in the schools that we work with, meaning a DBS certificate will be required before starting work in any of our partnered schools. If you don’t currently own a DBS then you will be able to apply for one through teaching personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
