The school is a smaller than average primary school with a high amount of pupils coming from disadvantaged and diverse backgrounds, therefore requiring a teacher that is able to make a real difference and work well as part of a team in order to provide pupils with the skills that they need in order to succeed. The role is to start from September 2019 and the school are keen to interview possible teachers, week commencing 13th May.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious teacher who is looking to develop in their career or for a newly qualified teacher looking to work alongside a brilliant and supportive network of teachers, who all work together in order to support one another and achieve the best for their pupils.

In order to be successful for this role you will need to:

  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner; keen to learn and achieve the highest standards
  • Have a experience working within KS1
  • Have a strong knowledge of phonics
  • Demonstrate a range of positive strategies to engage and motivate pupils
  • Keen to develop relationships with all stakeholders to benefit pupils
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be committed to promoting excellence in every aspect of school life
  • Be keen to contribute to the development and implementation of the overall ethos/work/aims of the school
  • A positive role model for our children
