Teaching Personnel have a long standing presence in North Yorkshire and are proud to be the preferred supplier for numerous schools across York and Selby. When you choose us as your agency, we will do our best to match you with the right roles and schools for you. Your designated consultant will work with you to help you plan your diary and we can be as flexible as you need.

At present, we are looking to recruit KS1 Teachers in York, to meet the demand of local schools. We welcome applications from KS1 Teachers who are looking for day to day supply cover and longer-term placements. The suitable candidates will hold UK QTS, have recent experience teaching across KS1 and be able to adapt to new environments easily.

The successful Teacher for this post will have:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status
  • KS1 specialism
  • An Enhanced Child Only DBS registered with the Update Service (can apply through Teaching Personnel)
  • At least 3 days availability per week

Desirable skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop lasting relationships
  • Flexibility - the ability to adapt quickly to new surroundings
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management
  • High teaching standards and a proven track record of raising attainment

Pay: £100 - £150 per day

Location: York

Contract: Temporary with permanent positions available
