Special Needs Teacher

A SEN school in Frome are looking for a teacher to join them ASAP. You will work through the agency in the first instance, however this school has taken many members of staff onto permanent contracts in the past, and will offer this transfer if you are successful in your role and like working at the school.

The school cater for children between the ages of 7-19 with special educational needs including Autism, Learning Difficulties and Complex needs. They are located in the beautiful countryside with excellent on site facilities that encourage learning, relaxation and play.

As a teacher in this SEN school, you could be expected to work with young between between 7-19 and must be able to differentiate lesson plans to suit all students needs.

You do not need previous special school experience. If you are a teacher with QTS who has the confidence and skills to manage a team of dedicated TA’s and an interest in developing your skills, you will still be considered for this role.

This is a full time role, and the school hours are 08:30 - 15:45.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
