A large two form entry primary school in Rochdale have a temporary position from September for a KS1 teacher.

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of this school in Rochdale to recruit a KS1 teacher for a Year 1 class; this is a temporary full-time position for the remainder of the academic year. The school serves a diverse area of Rochdale and the Head has expressed the need for an experienced KS1 teacher who can adapt and work in this environment. The school is roughly 10 minutes from Rochdale town centre via Kingsway and borders the areas of Littleborough, easily reached via the M62 and public transport routes.

-          KS1 teacher (year 1 class) in a Rochdale primary school

-          Full time maternity cover, starting in September 2021 which could lead to a permanent role

-          Initial introduction through timesheets with a view to securing contract

-          MPS/UPS in line with your experience and scale point

The successful applicant will be joining a dedicated key stage 1 team, fully supported by the phase leader who is also part of the leadership team. This is a 2 form entry school, you’ll have full support from the parallel Year 1 teacher and a teaching assistant within your class who is a long serving member of staff, the school has a higher than average number of pupils eligible for free school meals and those who speak English as an additional language. Provisions in place make this an excellent opportunity for any KS1 teachers looking for a temporary post in Rochdale.
