Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a client primary school in Longsight, Manchester (M13). The school are looking to appoint a Year 1 teacher to join them after the Easter break. This is role will start of temporary but is likely to be made permanent for the right candidate. The school are looking for an 'OUTSTANDING' practitioner who is able to help all children reach their academic targets whilst developing the curriculum to suit the needs of all the children in the class.

The role is to work at a lovely school in Longsight, Manchester. The head teacher has been praised by OFSTED for creating a welcoming working environment and the staff and pupils have been described as having 'optimistic and enthusiastic attitudes' towards all aspects of school life. The school are looking for a teacher with a great sense of humour who will work well alongside other staff members to enhance this 'GOOD' primary school.

To be considered you will have recent and relevant experience teaching across KS1. Experience using the 'Letters & Sounds' phonics scheme would beneficial but isn't essential.

This role will start after the Easter holidays.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
