Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for a confident FQT/NQT in the Bodmin area.

Due to the imminent expansion of a great school we are seeking confident class teachers. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in vibrant school at the heart of a strong community. There are posts as the school are in the process of expanding their school.

The successful candidates will:

  • Be outstanding classroom practitioners
  • Have high expectations of all pupils in their class to make good progress
  • Be able to build a strong rapport with children and have a clear understanding of how children learn
  • Have the confidence and ability to work with children with additional needs within their mainstream class
  • Have the skills to ensure progress for all children in a mixed age class

We welcome applications from NQTs.

All of our candidates are subject to a DBS clearance. The DBS must be child workforce only and on the update service. If you do not have a current DBS on the update service then we can support you through the process.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
