Salary: M1-M6 (dependent on experience)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced KS1 teacher to join a wonderful Infant school from January 2026. This vacancy is for an Educator who is driven, reliable and nurturing.

As the KS1 Teacher, you will take full classroom responsibility for a Year 2 class, creating a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment. You will be supported by a full-time teaching assistant and a dedicated leadership team who value collaboration, creativity, and care.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is creative and full of enthusiasm.
• Demonstrates a solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum and child development
• Is a qualified teacher with QTS.
• Experienced in teaching Year 2 pupils
• Has an enhanced child only DBS on the Update service or willing to obtain one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 framework
• Promote a love of learning through play-based and structured activities
• Support the development of each child’s personal, social, and emotional skills
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting your teaching accordingly
