We are looking for a positive and confident KS1 Teacher to join a lovely school based in Ashbourne. The position is a full time position starting from September 2019, it will start on a temporary contract with the potential to turn permanent if the right teacher has been found.

The school endeavour to ensure that pupils are both engaged and challenged in their learning, using a wide variety of teaching strategies, skills and up-to-date learning resources. They cater for those who require additional support in academic, social and physical areas; always placing the child at the centre of every decision made. This Ashbourne based school strive to ensure that pupils enjoy their time at school and access an effervescent curriculum that is both relevant and purposeful.

To be considered for the role, you must:

  • PGCE with QTS or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a school
  • passion to work with young children
  • Clean DBS on the online update service *application will be made through registration process, if you don't have one already*
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Able to provide 2 relevant references from 2 previous employment
  • Flexible, adaptable and positive person to motivate children to do their very best
