A lovely Roman Catholic primary school in the Fallowfield area of Manchester (M14) is seeking a teaching assistant to work in one of the schools vibrant year 1 classes.  The position is to start in January and will run up until the end of the academic year. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a primary school setting and will be looking towards a career education. This full time position is to work in a “GOOD” primary school with a supportive staffing team and eager children who have a willingness to develop and learn.  

This would be an excellent opportunity for the right person to develop their career in a well supported environment.

This is a full time role in a ‘GOOD’ primary school. The school are looking to shortlist for this position ASAP with a view to the successful candidate starting after the Christmas break.

The successful candidate would be expected to,

  • Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis focusing on literacy and numeracy 
  • Conduct structured activities for small groups of children
  • Support the class teacher in day to day activities
  • Adhere to the Roman Catholic ethos of the school
