Job description

A Church of England primary school in the Hulme area of Manchester (M15) are seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join their KS1 team on a full time basis. This one form entry primary school has a great community feel and are looking for a dedicated practitioner who will make a different to children a cross the school. The head teacher is dedicated to ensuring that all children learn through 'consistency, tolerance and generosity' and is dedicating to ensuring that all children and staff adhere to the strong catholic ethos of the school.

The position would be to work across KS1 with a number of children with specific SEN. The school are looking for some one who can work effectively with children on a 1:1 and group basis. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with class teachers and the schools SENCO to monitor children's progress and help to enhance their learning experiences.

To be considered, you will have experience supporting children with SEN. Experience supporting learning across KS1 would also be beneficial but isn't essential.

This is a full time teaching assistant position that the school are looking to recruit for ASAP. The role will start in the immediate future and will run up until the end of the academic year.
