Job Advert: KS1/KS2 Class Teacher – Doncaster

Location: Doncaster
Start Date: ASAP or January 2026
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time considered
Contract Length: Ongoing, with potential to become permanent
Salary: £120–£200 per day (depending on experience)


About the Role

Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1/KS2 Class Teacher to join one of our welcoming partner primary schools in the Doncaster area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to creating a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment for pupils.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum

  • Support the academic, social, and emotional development of all pupils

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents

  • Maintain strong behaviour management skills and promote positive learning behaviours

  • Contribute to wider school life, including meetings, planning, and enrichment activities


Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching in KS1 or KS2 (placements included)

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
