KS1 Intervention Teacher - Ilkeston - DE7 - Part-Time

Intervention Teachers are employed in a number of different ways across primary schools for Maths and English Interventions. Teaching Personnel are looking for a KS1 Intervention Teacher to work in a primary school based in Ilkeston. This is a part - time position starting on the 25th March 2019.

Typically your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading 1:1 or small group sessions for students in a core subject area
  • Planning and preparing intervention sessions
  • Marking and assessing work
  • Monitoring and reviewing the progress of students
  • Attending departmental meetings
  • Supporting revision sessions

To apply for the role, you must have:

  • PGCE with OTS or equivalent
  • Experience working within a classroom
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum
  • Have an animated personality and a strong team player
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Relevant references
