KS1 Calss Teacher

Job description

Are you a Teacher experienced working within KS1? Are you able to demonstrate good or outstanding teaching practise? Are you looking to make a real difference in children's learning journeys?

If so an Outstanding Primary school in the WA5 area of Warrington is looking to appoint a KS1 class teacher to work with their KS1 setting starting from February. The school is a smaller than average school, which looks to create an inclusive environment support the needs of both pupils and staff.

A successful applicant should:

  • Have a strong knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum
  • Be able to demonstrate good practice, ensuring that all pupils are able to make progress
  • Be able to differentiate tasks to ensure that all pupils learning needs are met
  • Be able to create an inclusive learning environment to ensure that no child is left behind
  • Experienced teaching with the Talk for Write scheme of work
  • Be able to implement effective behaviour management techniques
  • Be a good communicator and be able to work as part of a team
  • Have a strong knowledge of phonics

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
