KS1 & KS2 Teaching Assistant

School and Role Details: The School is looking for an adaptable Teaching Assistant that is flexible across both KS1 & KS2. The facilities at the school are excellent and provide the opportunity for all pupils to develop and excel. The school has a very supportive head teacher who supports staff and takes great pride in the school itself.

The Head is seeking to appoint a strong Teaching Assistant that would be employed as 'bank' staff. This would mean floating around the classes and covering sickness when required. You will assist smaller classes of learners (max 20) who are eager to learn. The role also offers the right candidate potential opportunities for personal and professional development.

Requirements:

• A passionate, engaging and motivated personality
• Transferable skills i.e. sports, art, and academic
• At least 5 A-C GCSE grades
• Experience working/volunteering with children
• Ambition for career development
• High expectations for all students and the determination to help all children succeed
• The willingness to immerse themselves in all aspects of the school, extra curricular etc
