Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a specialist school in Middlesbrough, to work with Key Stage 1 and 2 students with varying SLD on a flexible basis, including ASC and speech and language impairments. The role will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis, however further work opportunities will be accessible after registration with Teaching Personnel for this position. You will have access to our unique CPD opportunities and competitive pay rates of up to £65 per day.

The candidate will have a passion for improving life skills of students, and believe in the importance of improving their personal, moral and social development as well as assisting in curriculum based learning.

The ideal candidate will have:

- At least three months SEND experience

- Broad curriculum knowledge

- Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant Qualification (or relevant experience/degree)

- Excellent behaviour management skills

- A patient and caring attitude
