  • Competitive pay of up to £65 per day
  • Key Stage 3/4 ASC class

Teaching Personnel are looking for a full time ASC Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist school in the Middlesbrough area. The role will involve working with a small class of Key Stage 3 and 4 students with ASC on a daily basis, assisting across all curriculum areas as well as behaviour management. The successful candidate will act as a supportive figure to the class; they will be passionate about helping young people achieve their best academically as well as encouraging personal growth and development. Experience working with ASC is highly desirable, however any relevant experience with SEND in mainstream or SEN environments are welcomed.

The candidate will quickly become a part of the enthusiastic team of teachers and staff, the role will commence immediately on a temporary basis however there is a strong potential for a permanent contract to the right candidate. You will receive Teaching Personnel's competitive daily rates of pay of up to £65!

The ideal candidate will have:
-At least three months experience in an SEND environment
-Experience working with students with Autism
-TA Qualification, Level 3 (or relevant experience/degree)
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A patient and caring attitude
