Job description

An exciting opportunity to work with a small, welcoming and very supportive team within a unique learning environment has just became available in a York Primary School. Teaching Personnel are supporting this client school with their recruitment for this role, which is to work as Key Stage Two class Teacher on a 2 term temporary contact. NQT's are encouraged to apply.

The person we hope to appoint will:

  • have a sound understanding of the national curriculum
  • have a strong track record of teaching English and Maths at KS2
  • be able to create a stimulating learning environment
  • recognise the importance of working in a team
  • have strong interpersonal skills

The school require a teacher who is up to date with the current curriculum and experienced teaching across Key Stage Two. The class which you will be covering require stability and a teacher who is committed to raising standards. Most importantly, you will be a positive and friendly individual with a strong work ethic. The suitable candidate will have extensive teaching experience and be confident teaching across various year groups in Key Stage Two.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
