Secondary History Teacher - Northampton - September 2018.

The directors of a successful popular up and coming Catholic school in Northampton are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teacher of History to start in September 2018. The school are committed to continuous improvement and driving up standards of attainment and are ambitious for all students and staff. This is an exciting opportunity for an NQT or experienced teacher to join a successful team and teach History up to Key Stage 4.

Pay rate for this role is competitive and dependant on experience - enquire for further information.

The ideal candidate for this role will be:

  • Be a highly organised individual with excellent time management necessary to prepare lessons
  • Ensure lessons are innovate and engaging
  • Be a determined individual who is able to motivate themselves and others
  • Posses excellent classroom and behavioural management skills
  • Be dedicated to raising and maintaining attainment levels across year groups
  • Have a strong knowledge of the current subject curriculum and the education system
  • Have high aspirations which match the schools desire to consistently strive for excellence
  • Encourage personalised student development

All candidates must provide two references as well as a Current Child Workforce DBS registered with the DBS Update Service. Teaching personnel will also provide ongoing support and personalised guidance to the candidates throughout.
