Job description

Due to expansion and the desire to create further teaching opportunities within school, Teaching Personnel are working with an "Outstanding" Primary School in the Openshaw area of East Manchester, M11, to look for a fully qualified Year 3, Key Stage 2 teacher to join their junior department from Easter. The position of year 3 teacher will be starting from Easter 2018 with a view to continuing for the rest of the academic year.

The Manchester Central branch of Teaching Personnel are working closely with a historically outstanding primary school, also graded as outstanding under the new OFSTED framework. This flagship school within the Openshaw area of East Manchester offer great facilities and a support network within their Key Stage 2 department. The incoming year 3 teacher will be fully qualified and be part of a school where Pupils make excellent progress from their starting points and make rapid progress throughout school. (OFSTED). The children are a pleasure to teach with behaviour classed as outstanding with a pride for their school combined with a polite and friendly attitude. (OFSTED).

As a Year 3 teacher, experience of teaching using a cross-curricular approach and confidence to build in nurture and social aspects of learning to your teaching would be beneficial. In addition, a passion for working with mixed ability and high levels of SEN children would serve you well.
