Key Stage 2 - Teaching Assistant role

Do you have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification? Are you passionate about children and education? Would you like to work in a supportive 'Outstanding' School?

This 'smaller than average' New Milton based Primary school, is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 department on a temporary basis. The individual will need to be flexible as the days will be split between the Year 4 and Year 5 class.

The school has received an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating and believes in excellence and enjoyment for all. There are strong relationships between the staff, children and also the surrounding community. Parents are proud to have their children attending the school and are encouraged to be involved with their child's learning.

Current attainment is well above average in reading and maths and is average in writing. The head teacher is looking for someone who can support the Teachers and encourage the children to maintain this standard.

  • Are able to work to a high standard and motivate children to do the same
  • Are able to confidently build respectful relationships with both pupils and staff

The role is on a full time basis with the potential to become long term.
