Teaching Personnel are helping recruit a Teaching Assistant for a Manchester Primary school based in Levenshulme, M14. The role has arisen due to a resignation taking place after May half term. The position will be in one of the year 4 classes.

This 2 form entry Primary school has been graded "OUTSTANDING" by OFSTED and continues to lead by example in all aspects. The head teacher has been described as an "inspirational leader" and "has been instrumental in securing rapid and excellent improvement since the last inspection." Due to this the school is a very sought after school to work at. This is the perfect opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to gain experience and learn a lot from working in an "OUTSTANDING" school.

The role will involve working in the lower ability class of the two year 4 classes. As well as general TA work in supporting the teacher in class, the role will also require small group with the pupils in Maths, English and Reading. Experience in Key Stage 2 is a preference but not a necessity as the school has stated the right personality and attitude will go a long way as long as the candidate has previous experience with working in the class room in a Primary school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
