Are you seeking your next role in a rewarding secondary school? Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced cover supervisor available to start this January?
We are working with a Secondary school in Rochdale, looking to appoint three Teaching Assistants to support students throughout their day, provide additional support for teachers and work flexibly through the departments.
You will join their exciting and motivating team and be provided with progression opportunities to excel your career further. Our highly rated schools are based in Prestwich and is known for its outstanding facilities and excellent yearly success grades.
Both qualified and unqualified candidates are being considered for the role, as on-the-job support and training is provided. The Ofsted rated ‘good’ school is rated highly, by both staff and students, which is reflected with their grades at the end of each year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Encourage students to engage in learning, creating a positive environment
- Provide support for their social, emotional and physical welfare
- Tidying up the classroom before and after lessons
- Supporting students within the classroom where required
- Additional support for the department
This is a full-time role starting January 2024. It is perfect for graduates, or those simply wanting to gain experience, especially for those considering their PGCE in the future.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
