Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant

Job description

A Primary school in Weymouth is looking for an experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant to work within a year 4 class for the remainder of the academic year. The role will be a general TA role for the remainder of the academic year on a Full time basis. The school will be looking to put the candidate on a school based contract if they are the right fit for the school.

About the role:

  • KS2 TA in a Year 4 class
  • Small group Interventions in core subjects
  • 1:1 support in reading
  • Supporting the class teacher in class and at break times
  • Running boosters for lower ability pupils in Maths

What you will need to be considered for the role:

  • A full DBS check registered with the update service
  • Previous experience in delivering interventions
  • Experience in working in KS2
  • An enthusiastic and positive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
