Teaching Personnel are working with a school who are looking to appoint an innovative and well qualified KS2 Classroom teacher to join a primary school based in Leeds ( . This is a 1 year fixed term, part-time position with the possibility of an extension. This is for September start in the first instance, the school would also consider a January start date.

The School:
The School is a two-form entry with a PAN of 60. They have approximately 400 pupils aged 2-11, this includes the part-time pre-school and nursery provision. There are 200 children in the infants including thier reception classes and 170 children in the junior department. The nursery/pre-school provisions offers children and families a stimulating, well-resourced base in which to prepare for school readiness. This is supported by the on-site Children's Centre. They have excellent facilities, well equipped classrooms and well maintained outdoor play areas. The average class size is 26 and staff work in year group teams to collaboratively plan and deliver high quality lessons. Teaching assistants are highly skilled and play a critical role is supporting teachers and play a critical role in securing outstanding progress in pupils' learning.
Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as; Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.
These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training.
