Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for day-to-day supply staff to assist our client schools in the Manchester East area. We are looking for people who are available to start immediately, working on a part-time, flexible basis.

Salary- £120 per day.

The main responsibilities of this position include:

  • Teaching in secondary schools in the Centre and South of Manchester, covering areas such as: Wythenshawe, Moss Side, Gorton, Didsbury and Levenshulme.  
  • Part time, flexible working based around when you are available.
  • Teaching a variety of subjects, dependant on the requirements of the school

As a day-to-day supply teacher, you will be working flexibly in a variety of schools, ideal for people with family commitments or people looking to reduce their workload. Assignments can vary from one day, to an academic term dependent on the requirements of the school. You will be supported by Teaching Personnel, who will work to provide you with the work that you are looking for.

Supply cover teachers typically do not have to have to undertake the full workload of a teacher, meaning that planning, marking and extra-curricular activities are rarely going to be part of this role.

For this position, it is essential that you can provide school-based references, a fully enhanced DBS check and relevant qualified teacher status.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
