What the role can offer:

You will be teaching pupils in Key Stage 2, across two classes. The school appreciates that you may have a specialist year group, so are flexible with which year you will be supporting in. At least two years experience as a class teacher in a Key Stage 2 classroom is essential, as you will be expected to take on the full class teacher role.

You will be expected to take on shared planning with your partner teachers. You will also be supported by an experienced LSA (learning support assistant). Members of SLT are highly supportive, and will provide advice and guidance when you need it although they do like you to have the freedom to use your style.

The school is a two - form entry mainstream primary where children are enthusiastic and motivated to learn. You will be well suited to the role if your passion for teaching lies in ensuring all pupils in your class experience school as a happy and confident learner.

Each classroom is equipped with fantastic facilities, with access to impressive shared learning areas. The school has an exciting playground, wildlife area and intervention/ library space.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
