Key Stage 2 Maths Support assistant needed for a Radcliffe based, Bury (M26) primary school

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a primary school in Bury and is an ideal role for a Maths Graduate or a Teaching Assistant with Intervention experience.

  • Salary- (£14,000 - £18,000)
  • Starting date - September 4th 2018

With a fantastic reputation for their community contributions, the head of one of this larger than average sized Primary School in Bury are looking to recruit another valued member of staff that will contribute to boosting attainment across KS2 Maths.

The primary school's Senior Leadership Team have identified gaps in some children's learning across KS2 and are keen to employ a Maths/Numeracy Specialist to work along side class room teachers to support the children's learning and rapidly narrow the identified gaps.

The Ideal candidate will have/be:

  • A specialism in mathematics or class room experience using intervention sessions
  • Have a create approach to learning
  • A confident and outgoing personality and commitment to working for the full year
  • A practising Catholic or be able to work and support a Catholic ethos within the school

The role will be full time and is to start in September 2018 and run until the end of the academic year. To apply for this role, you must have school based experience or have a specialism in Mathematics.
