Job description

As the UK's leading education recruitment agency, Teaching Personnel are proud to be the chosen supplier for a large variety of primary schools across the York area. One of our client primary schools has approached us to support them with their recruitment for the summer term.

We are looking to appoint a Key Stage 2 teacher with a proven track record of raising attainment, driving pupil progress and delivering creative and engaging lessons.

Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply; it is attitude and personality that is most important to this school, which has recently been graded 'Outstanding' by Oftsed.

This position is a full time, temporary contract until July 2018, with the opportunity of a permanent contract. You will be based within a lower Key Stage 2 class. A sound and up to date knowledge of the current national curriculum is necessary.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
