School that caters for pupils with SEMH requires a Teaching Assistant

An outstanding Primary School in the Slough area is looking for a full time SEN Teaching Assistant to start immediately. The successful candidate will work on Long Term Supply basis and then if all goes well will be come a permanent member of staff at the school.

Role

The role involves working alongside a main classroom teacher to support a small class of primary school pupils (6-12 pupils) with Social Emotional Mental Health Needs (SEMH). The schools main aim is to engage pupils academically and increase there social skills with peers.

You

The Head is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant. Someone with at least's one year's experience full time or part time either with SEN pupil or in a mainstream school. Preferably you will have worked with SEMH but not essential if worked with other SEN pupils. You will need to be patient and understanding of the pupils individual needs.

This SEN school caters for primary, pupils with, social emotional mental health needs. Staffs are highly knowledgeable with SEN and provide excellent facilities for pupils to learn grow and develop to succeed in the workplace and live rewarding, independent lives.
