Are you an experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher with a passion for seeing 'hard to reach' pupils achieve?
Do you have experience with Phonics, in particular Letters and Sounds?
If so, Teaching Personnel could have the ideal job role you!

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Key Stage 1 specialist to teach a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class, starting after the Easter break. The post will see you working closely with the Key Stage leader and Head of Primary, with the planning, assessment and teaching which will be part of this role.

The School is an Ofsted graded Good School, based in Fulford; South York, with great access via car or bus routes. The School is a thriving alternative provision with great feedback from candidates working there on a long term basis. For the ideal candidate, long term supply can lead to a permanent or fixed term contract.

As the ideal Key Stage 1 Teacher, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience teaching and adapting the national curriculum to Key Stage 1 pupils at different abilities
  • Is passionate in seeing all pupils achieve and exceed their potential
  • Can create engaging and interactive lessons
  • Encourages pupils to participate in the whole School life, including after Schools clubs
