Key Stage 1 Teacher needed for a 'GOOD' Primary School in Accrington

  • Experience in a Key Stage 1 classroom is a necessity (NQTs welcome to apply)

  • The teacher is required for the full academic year for a Maternity cover

Are you happy to commit to a full time role for a full academic year? If so, this may be the job for you!

The school are in need of a Key Stage 1 teacher who can start in September 2019 covering a maternity leave. The role would be either in Year 1 or Year 2, based on your experience and expertise. Experience delivering the KS1 curriculum and evidence of excellent Primary School classroom practice references are essential for this role. As you would be in school for a full academic year you would be expected to contribute to the wider school community such as attending parents evenings and weekly staff meetings.

Behaviour in school has been reported at 'GOOD' and pupils show good progress across KS1 and KS2. This position offers candidates the scope to develop their career, alongside upholding high expectations of learning, attainment and behaviour.

The successful candidate will be required to full time and will get relevant PPA time allocated. Feedback from Teaching Personnel staff who have been in school recently to cover short term absences have said the school is lovely and is a pleasure to work in.
