Teaching Personnelis working with an Outstanding primary school in Poole who are on the look-out for a talented, inspiring KS1 teacher. The ideal candidate will be forward thinking, inventive and can engage all abilities through the joy of learning.

The school are open to applications from experienced KS1 Primary teachers and newly qualified teachers looking to secure an induction year role.

KS1 PRIMARY TEACHER - CANDIDATE DESCRIPTION

  • Hold or be working towards UK QTS by September 2018
  • Experienced or Newly Qualified KS1 Primary practitioner
  • Graded Good to Outstanding in placements or Lesson Observations
  • Make a valuable contribution to the wider aspects of school life
  • Deliver consistently good or better lessons
  • Take on board guidance and constructive learning objectives
  • Want to become part of a supportive & caring school
  • High level of aspiration for yourself and students
  • Have an inner belief teaching is your dream role
  • Interested in developing the learning journey for all children
  • Be able to communicate with parents/carers effectively

KS1 PRIMARY TEACHER - THE ROLE

  • KS1 Primary Teacher - Experienced or NQT
  • Strong Key Stage 1 (KS1) curriculum knowledge - Essential
  • Fantastic induction programme for NQTs
  • NQTs will have access to your own allocated school Mentor
  • Ongoing SLT Guidance, CPD and lesson observations
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, fun lessons
  • NQTs - 90% teaching timetable for induction year additional to existing PPA reduction
  • Create good communication links to parents/carers
  • September 2018 start - Full time - Permanent
  • MPS1 - MPS6 - £22,917 - £33,824
  • Located in Poole
  • Parking available

  • 77% pupils meeting expected standard in reading, writing and maths (National Average 61%)
