We are currently looking for a qualified Key Stage 1 or lower Key Stage 2 teacher for a Maternity Cover position based in Fulford, York.

The ideal candidate will be a hard-working and dedicated Key Stage One or Two specialist who is able to successfully deliver the national curriculum creatively.

The position starts at Easter and is to cover a maternity leave. It is a full time position and you will be expected to fulfil the entire remit of a classroom teacher.

You will require:

  • QTS
  • Be confident, passionate and highly motivated
  • The ability to model and deliver high standards of teaching and learning
  • The ability to carry out planning for opportunities of learning
  • A commitment to raising standards
  • A willingness to make significant contribution to the life of the school
  • Proactive team member skills
  • NQT's are welcome to apply
  • Knowledge of the 'Letters and Sounds' Phonics Programme

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
