Key Stage 1 Teacher needed For 'Good' primary school In Bury (BL8)

Year 1 teacher needed for maternity cover starting on 4th September 2018

  • Are you a qualified primary school teacher with experience in Key Stage 1 looking for work this academic year?
  • Would you be interested in teaching within the KS2 department at a 'Good' primary school in Bury?

Due to the maternity leave of a current teacher in the KS1 department, the need has arisen for a year 1 teacher to join a supportive team starting September. The potential year 1 teacher will benefit from working in an extremely supportive working environment. The senior leadership team have a clear vision for the school to strive for success now and for the future.

The school is looking for a primary school Teacher with/who is:

  • Understanding and knowledge of the curriculum and experience working in Key Stage 1
  • Enthusiastic and is committed to high standards, has high expectations of behaviour
  • Passionate about teaching in KS1 raising pupil potential and achievement
  • Experience using different phonics schemes such as 'Read Write Inc' and 'Letter's and Sounds'
  • Enthusiastic about providing exciting learning experiences for the children in a cross curricular context

Located in Bury (BL8) with good transport links, this primary school is warm and welcoming and promotes a strong Catholic ethos to its pupils. Its aim is to promote a kind and inclusive environment where pupils can achieve their potential and dreams.

The head teacher is looking to see CV's over the summer holidays and will be looking to see teachers for interview/lesson observation in September.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
