IT TEACHER CARDIFF

At teaching personnel we work in partnership with schools all across South Wales. One of our partners, a Cardiff secondary school has a vacancy in their IT department for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join their faculty.

The department is in a successful school and for the right candidate will provide and excellent opportunity to develop and really engage and unlock student potential.

The School and Position

  • IT teacher for secondary school pupils aged between 11-18.
  • School rated GOOD in all categories on latest ESTYN inspection
  • Large school with over 1500 pupils
  • Easily accessible transport links. Good Public transport links from the City Centre
  • Strong senior leadership team focused on Career development

The Successful IT Teacher

  • Strong experience of teaching IT at a secondary level up to and including A-level.
  • Hold an in depth knowledge of the national curriculum, student interaction and good behaviour management skills.
  • Both newly and fully qualified IT Teachers may apply
  • The suitable candidate will interview immediately as this is regarding an offer of a long term position through to the new academic year

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
