A client school in the S14 area of Sheffield are looking for a full time teaching assistant to work across their vibrant school. The successful candidate will work with children in all different year groups across KS1 and KS2 to deliver small group and 1:1 intervention sessions. The school are looking for a flexible teaching assistant who will be able to divide their time accordingly, under the instruction of the class teachers, to help to raise attainment across school.
This is a full time teaching assistant position that will start in September and will run up until the end of the academic year. The opportunity to work on to a school based contract may be possible for the right person
The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent and will be comfortable taking full classes where necessary. The school are looking for a practitioner who is able to build close working relationships with children and staff whilst working as a positive role model at all times. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to supporting learning and will have a good sense of humour which will fit in with the happy and energetic ethos of the school.
