A client school in the Stretford area of Trafford, M32, are seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to join their dedicated TA team on a full time basis in September. The successful applicant with work as an interventions teaching assistant who will deliver reading, English and maths interventions to children across KS2. The successful candidate will work along side the class teachers to move lower ability children on with their learning by working closely with them to deliver targeted intervention sessions.

This three form entry primary school was rated 'GOOD' at its last OFSTED inspection with aspects of 'OUTSTANDING'. The school are seeking a dedicated practitioner to help raise attainment across the school by working with children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. This primary school has high levels of EAL so the selected candidate will be required to work closely with selected children to aid their speech and language.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for graduates who are looking to gain experience working in primary schools. Experience working with children would be beneficial but isn't essential as all the necessary training will be provided. To be considered you will hold a degree in a relevant field or equivalent.

  • Be confident in supporting children's learning on a 1:1 and small group basis

This positon is to start in September and will run for the full academic year. The chance to gain a school based contract may be possible for the successful applicant. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
