Intervention Tutor

Teaching Personnel are looking for Teachers/Tutors in Ascot, Berkshire who will be able to support us in delivering specialist 1:1 intervention utilising the Catch Up funding, for pupils who have fallen behind due to the COVID 19 crisis.

Our most successful tutors have the following skills, experience and personality traits:

• Fully Qualified and able to teach up to KS4 (GCSE)
• Experienced teaching small intervention groups or 1:1 tuition
• Experienced private tutors with a minimum of 1 year experience
• Confident managing any challenging behaviour and able to re-engage hard to reach learners
• Able to plan, create and effectively deliver all of your own learning materials
• Competent at providing detailed feedback and progress reports to track the progress of students both academically and socially
• Proven track record of being able to raise student attainment

Our tuition and intervention roles vary broadly depending on how much funding is available and the specific needs of each student. We are looking for individuals with flexible available timetables who can work on a sessional basis both during the school day and potentially after school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
