Teaching Personnel has been approached by a school in Blackburn who is in need of an Intervention Specialist to help improve attainment across the core curriculum in school.

The school caters for children who display challenging behaviour and usually have SEMH difficulties or SEND. Children often come to school with gaps in their learning because of historically having poor attendance. The school, with their nurture-based approach, caters to the needs of each pupils with the aim to return the students to mainstream education with the capability to learn.

The school needs a specialist- educated to degree level- in order to work in small groups with pupils to improve their Maths and English attainment.

An ideal candidate should have fantastic behaviour management and communication skills. They should plan passionate, enthusiastic and engaging lessons which may use holistic learning styles.

The pay for this role is GBP10 per hour.

The working hours are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
