Are you looking for a role that allows you to make a real difference to student’s academic journey?

A Stockport based school is looking for a Cover Supervisor to start immediately with an end date of December 2023.

Positioned just 7 minutes off the M67 this school is easily accessible and with a train station and bus stop no more than 4 minutes away commuting should be no issue.

The role is currently temporary however there is a real possibility of a permanent role beyond December 2023.

This school of 1100 students of all abilities and backgrounds mainly serve the communities of Bredbury, Romiley and Woodley.

It prides itself on being an inclusive school, with a large support network of professionals surrounding our curriculum in the classroom. 

Students follow an ambitious curriculum with a large range of both academic and practical subjects at GCSE, supplemented by an increasing vocational pathway. 

In place a broad and balanced curriculum which gives pupils the opportunity to achieve better overall progress scores.

Role involves:

  • Delivery of pre-set lessons
  • Behaviour management in line with school policies
  • Working hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm
  • Working as part of a strong staff team to inspire and develop students
  • Ensure engagement from students

  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with staff and students

You can earn pay ranging from £350 to £400 experience dependant, the staff at this school will ensure you are fully supporting during your time, support staff and teaching assistants are situated to ensure students who require extra attention are supported appropriately.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
